The Epson email address/domain is correct--mail has
been successfully delivered to this person in the past.

That actually isn't an issue on their end -- their mailserver is a very rare one that will send out a response split into multiple packets, which throws off testing tools (but IMail will handle properly).


Can one of the guru's explain why Imail (v7.15) is
choking on it? Is this an IMail issue or an Epson
gateway problem?

What does the IMail SMTP log file show for the delivery attempt?
