Thanks Scott! The relevant part of the bounce message follows. I thought this was DNS issue first, too. The "unknown host" message is why I initially went to your terrific dnsstuff.com and the the mail tests. (BTW, Thank You!) The unexpected "unknown HELO response" is what prompted me to post the question to the forum.
Something else strange with this, too. I got a report of 3 emails in a row [from this same epson account] with corrupted attachments (1 .jpg, 1 .exe, 1 .zip) earlier that evening. It was reported to me that CC'd emails to a GMail box were received NOT corrupted. No other corrupted attachments have EVER been reported on my server. Due to logistics and the time difference, I have not had an opportunity yet to reproduce the corruption myself. I'm at a loss. Any ideas? Thanks for all your help!
