Mr. Pollack,

I am please to see you're also spending your weekend still looking and are
as concerned as we are about all of this :)

I beg of you to please also consider those of us that offer web hosting with
lots of email accounts and need the unlimited version just to keep up with
market demand. With the price of Windows web hosting being driven in a
continued downward spiral by free NIX software offerings and some cut throat
newbie companies willing to do anything for a dollar, we just can't pay more
for what we are already getting. We also need to survive and do whatever we
need to in order to continue on our path, even if it means converting to NIX
ourselves for email. The kind of money we are now looking at with your
current offerings makes NIX a very feasible option.

Make support be a pay per incident if you really must, but please do not
take away the affordable $495 per year upgrades (maybe less without support)
for something that you need to develop anyway for the core of ICS. Not
taking our money and letting us DL the latest and greatest is just hurting
your own profits, and all for something that you will have setting right
there available anyway. Why not continue this market?

You've got a lot of really loyal clients that could easily keep more revenue
coming in for you while you to continue target this new ICS market. Heck,
maybe when it works on a per domain basis it could be something we could let
our clients add in incrementally and let them pay for the licenses they need
rather than us paying in advance for a somewhat doubtful market as a web
host provider.

The real issue here is not the bundled offerings that you can still pursue,
it's the core we need and that we are upset about. Most all ISP companies
and web hosting companies need unlimited domains and email account
licensing. We also need faster response times to spam and AV outbreaks that
only companies like Declude can offer. We get that help right here where we
get most of our Imail support anyway.

With more and more hosting companies offing more and more email accounts
with hosting for $5 a month, how can we pay more for what we need and still
be competitive? I know that is not really your problem, but many of us have
relied on Ipswitch for years and never complained about anything, even where
it wasn't totally perfect. I know I just paid the money and felt assured we
had a solid path to follow. That is the only issue here and is the bottom
line with most of us. We need to trust those we are forced to depend on, we
had it and now it's been shaken. Please do the right thing Sir and fix it!

Thanks for reading this :)

Yes, but that includes a year of Symantec A/V for an unlimited number of
users. If you -want- Symantec, which is, after all, the market leader, it's
actually quite a good deal, as many users have already concluded. However,
if you -don't- want Symantec bundled in, as it currently is in some ICS
packages (which we now understand is not attractive to ISPs, in particular),
stay tuned....
