Why not integrate Trashfinder and Spameye? I expect this is a non-starter as Spameye and Trashfinder have different authors.

But it would make Trashfinder a more poweful and user-friendly tool. The power is there, but it's hard to configure.

The first new feature should be a more detailed analysis of the emails trashed. Percentages are fine as a broadbrush analysis; but it would often be helpful to know who are the major sources of emails diverted to the trash folder and what happened to them (relayed or deleted). You could then use this info to fine tune Trashfinder.

So that if you find that all email from dodgymail.com ends up being deleted, you can put this address into Trashfinder, and forget about them. Similarly if all email from usefulemail.com is essential, even though it is always in UPPER case, you can put them into the bypass list

Which lead me on to another thought. The bypass list is an all-or-nothing list. Anything in that list bypasses _all_ checks. How about making it conditional? e.g bypass the dodgy html check, but don't bypass the attachments check. Another possibility is to have an exception list for each filter. So that legitimate mail from a specific person or address containing suspect text ( rape, porn etc) would by pass the subject/ text checks, but not the attachments check. And so on.

Spameye would be even better with a filter to retrieve all mails for a given
