And encouraging people to think about what may make sense in a new open source world - for example, we had a good discussion at PSARC over how the current interface and release taxonomy only made compatibility guarantees whenever a Solaris 11^W^WNext got shipped, and thus potentially alienating any derivative distribution wanting to be binary compatible.
