We need "input method" one way or another for international users. To some 
extent, there is always some performance hit. Comparing with and without iiim 
is useful and in fact, I agree it is important. But that's not a reason to 
disable it across the board. Probably a more constructive analysis is how to 
minimize the performance difference instead of attacking the whole thing.
