Ohta-san,
Sounds like a similar problem I've had while trying to boot different
distros.
I've had this problem too sometimes with ISO media. Removing the
findroot works quite well.
Sometimes things are just too smart for their own good.
That being said, you can label the boot directory that grub uses with
a tag for findroot and this will also take care of the problem too.

Please try to delete the 'findroot...' line in the grub.
you can delete the grub menu,so please read how to edit the grub menu
below 'the menu'.
perhaps findroot made mistaking your 0811 'root' for your '0906' root.
and you would succeed in installing 0906 on your SHDC.
When we install OpenSolaris several disks in same machines
it will be occurred.so please pay attention to when installing.

It is confirmed Eee 701,900,901,1000H,1000HE,S101.
It works almost fine for y ou but it isn't supported sus/resume and
a bit
some functions,
and more lately I am sure OpenSolaris size are getting bigger
because of
its packages are improved,
so we have to remove snapshot for backup when using Eee 701 - such
a
poor 4GB SSD.
Thus I have a plan to downsize my distro for Eees - perhaps Sergio
has
tried that.
I am sure I will have to have a try soon.
By the way there are many netbooks released many vendors and
improved
rapidly,you know,'Nvidia ION'
is cool platform for netbooks.so I agree with you guys,It is a
great
idea to have a project for 'making netbook-optimized
OpenSolaris distro' in opensolaris.org.
