Thanks Masafumi,
That did the trick. I could boot from SDHC after deleting the findroot
entry
but later when I was trying some applications it just got hung. Will
try the
same experiment on a USB drive instead of SDHC. Could be that the SDHC
medium is not clean since just typing 'ls' got hung as well.

What can you do with the new Windows Live? Find out
<http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowslive/default.aspx>
Karl,
Sorry to late too respond,
Please try to get rid of GUI boot mode,
that is change the grub (or /rpool/boot/grub/menu.lst) as follows;
title OpenSolaris 2009.06 snv_111b X86
bootfs rpool/ROOT/opensolaris
kernel$ /platform/i86pc/kernel/$ISADIR/unix -B $ZFS-BOOTFS
module$ /platform/i86pc/$ISADIR/boot_archive
in my case it make my Eee booted from 4GB A-data SDHC.
Thanks,
-masafumi
