Sharif, judging ourselves is as easy as judging others. Because being human is basically being selfish, everything is about ourselves. Me, myself, my family, my house, my career, my etc, my etc. Unlike other mammals, humans are individualists.
So if you ask me if it's good to become the judge to ourselves, my answer will be: we have been the judge to ourselves for millenia. It's not good and it's not bad either. It's what we instinctively do. Example: you judge yourself a sexyst, thus it gives you the right to judge Hoshi and other women for their choices. I have a question: Can you be the jury and the executioner to yourself? Jury analyzes the case and decides if one's guilty or not. The executioner determines the penalty of your doings by looking at the damages you have done whether intentionally or not. Humans made mistakes. That we all know. Accepting that fact is not important. The important thing is how to learn from those mistakes. Being a judge doesn't qualify us to learn from the mistakes we made, but being a defendant is. It is not fair to pick out just one thing and left out the others.. it will be too convenient. Truth is, we've been conveniently living as judges. I'm not saying this is easy, but the best way to improve the quality of humanity is not to be a judge, jury or executioner to ourselves. Let others be the judge, jury and executioner, and let ourselves be the defendants. My two cents.
