I am with Tim also. I will help if there is a benefit to the school
district. No I do not charge them.
I think the bigger issue is that the teacher seems to be doing outside
work on school time for you Chad. If it is their "duty free" lunch,
that is one thing, but passing in the hall or their plan period seems
a little off to me. But I too have been guilty of sending personal e-
mails during school hours or doing personal research during hours.
Fine line and I hate to try to establish it. I do not get paid enough
to make that call.
That being said, If someone asks me to look at their home computer, I
tell them it is $50/hour for me to come over.
And I told one teacher who was having an issue printing off her Ticket
Master Tickets on the school color laser that I would not help her do
that as it was a misuse of school property.
My 2 cents
