I've changed my IE scripting setting to "prompt" and when testing it with
your email message again, I was shown a small window stating "Scripts are
usually safe to run. Do you want to allow scripts to run?" with a "yes" or
"no" option. I clicked "no" and the prompt window was removed and nothing
else happened. When I clicked on "yes", a different small window appeard and
asked "Proceed with test" but there was no option to NOT proceed with the
test.

I first checked Outlook Express from this "scripting" setting but it was not
listed in the "security" settings area. I had to start up IE and then found
it in the "Custom Level" of Security options available through the Internet
Options area.

I am wondering now when this prompt for scripting will next appear when I
occasionally use IE on websites that Opera doesn't operate well on. I assume
that by now selecting "prompt" for scripting, I may have a bit more security
from some website or email automatically running scripts on my computer.

So, I guess I should thank you, Jay, for making me aware of this security
issue.

Bill
