It has been perhaps a year since I tried at least one version of Eudora. At
that time I "test drove" the free version with advert attachments and
disliked it. Some unknown length of time before that I tried the full
version of Eudora and thought it was a pain. I can't recall precisely why,
or in which version, I got the impression of not being able to see the full
headers of inbox messages. Perhaps I didn't find the "blah, blah, blah"
button (which, honestly, I find a rather dumb sounding name for "message
headers" or some logical variant) but it seems to me I did and still didn't
like the software's interface.
Seeing full message headers is very important to me as I don't take spam
lightly. I report as much of it as I can, and, full message headers is
important in spam-fighting.
Just today I downloaded and tested PMMail200 <http://www.pmmail2000.com/>
which is pretty nice but has a couple quirks which bother me. At this time I
don't think I'll keep it past the 45 day trial period.
Perhaps I'll check out Eudora again and see how it looks and operates these
days.
