And also pca states: arwen# ./pca -d 127923 Using /var/tmp/patchdiag.xref from May/09/08 Host: arwen (SunOS 5.10/Generic_127112-11/i386/i86pc) List: 127923 Patch IR CR RSB Age Synopsis ------ -- - -- --- --- ------------------------------------------------------- 127923 -- < 03 R-- 24 SunOS 5.10_x86: cpio patch Downloading 127923-03 (1/1) Trying http://sunsolve.sun.com/ (1/1) Failed Failed (patch not found) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download Summary: 1 total, 0 successful, 0 skipped, 1 failed And that's too bad. I know I don't have a support contract. I can't pay the costs (alas). So, without this cpio patch things won't work out well, I guess. Would it help if I installed the SUNWcsu (including cpio) from a later solaris version? i.e. U4 or U5? Or doesn't that work. Thanks for you help anyway. Much appreciated, although I'm still stuck.
