Mike, thanks for prompting, I agree that an update was quite overdue. To expand on what Eric said above: The initial problem was to use the strategy outlined to acquire some resources to help take it further; most of the install team is already occupied with the work to finish upgrade with zones, as the solution used in Solaris 10 1/06 (and which will also be used for the upcoming 6/06 release) was temporary, so we needed some additions, and management has responded. As of a couple of weeks ago, we acquired a couple more engineers (Sarah Jelinek and Sanjay Nadkarni, both of whom will certainly be quite visible here as we go on), and I spent last week in Colorado meeting with them and others to get an initial roadmap of work put together. We've got a draft which we'll share, it needed a couple of items corrected yet. Of course, the roadmap says we need yet more resources ;-), so there's more management discussion needed. These projects will be open, as Eric said. I've been working with Moinak on getting the Live Media project open. We're pretty close, the main task in the way is to get legal sign-off on the construction utilities that we'll be releasing at opening. That will be a high priority this week. And I'm pleased to report that I integrated Peter's initial contribution of fixes to pkgchk this morning. We should be able to handle future contributions much more quickly (though in this case much of the time was spent iterating on a couple of design/code review issues) - this was a learning experience for the Install consolidation, with a couple of minor tools changes identified so that it goes more smoothly. Dave
