When that happens to me, it's usually because the new interface snaps into an existing network (same IP range, or something similar) that I had previously hidden on a different device. It doesn't always draw the old links (heck sometimes it still doesn't draw the network circle -- although that's less frequent, they've worked on squashing that bug).

Not saying that's the case with what you're seeing, but most of the time when I go "now why'd it do _that_!" there's _something_ over there that it attached to.





We do appreciate the attention you guys pay to our observations.
