Hello All, Question regarding searching the layer 2 information. (which has been running great since the #erase after entering a 3750)
Here is our scenario... Currently I have this beta running on one of our smaller flat networks spread across quite a few different buildings. To make our map "user friendly" ive created individual maps for each building and dropped those maps into an overview map page. When i go into each "buildings" submap, i can easily see all layer 2 info and seach by ip, mac etc without any problems. My question is... is it possible to search all the layer 2 information for all maps/submaps from one location? Occassionally our security group will ask us where a computer is located and only provide us with a mac or ip (trickier to find since its a flat network), it would be handy if we could just search from the "overview" map and find which submap it is located on. I've tried searching the forums for this and found nothing, my applogies if its already been answered. Hopefully that makes sense!
