That's obvious and I do offer that. But what about users in a shared
environment? There has to be a way to have cheaper accounts for people
and the way to do that is to put a couple hundred of them on a machine.
It'd be pretty easy to run a copy of Apache for each user on their own
port with a proxy in front to direct things but again it'd probably be
more resource intensive than safe mode. Shared environments suck anyway
though. You can get a pretty decent dedicated machine for $50/mo and a
virtual machine for $20/mo. People who only want to pay $5/mo should
expect things to suck so just make them stick to PHP5.
