It depends on you you start ion3. If you type 'startx' or 'xinit' on
the console, stderr is usually written there -- you should be able
to see a bunch of lines scrolling back when you quit ion3. To save
that information someplace useful, try:
$ startx 2>/tmp/ion3.log
--
