It depends on you you start ion3. If you type 'startx' or 'xinit' on the console, stderr is usually written there -- you should be able to see a bunch of lines scrolling back when you quit ion3. To save that information someplace useful, try:$ startx 2>/tmp/ion3.log
Ah, thanks. I guess it's enough to switch to the terminal (Ctrl+Alt+F1) from where I started Ion (instead of quitting it). There's some log messages there, but nothing caused by this.
