You are misinformed, and that's IMHO important information: I have been using 
IPv6 from my MacBook SINCE DECEMBER 2007.

You may look at RFC 5569 and to http://www.cu.ipv6tf.org/pdf/CAJ7TP8E.pdf to 
see how it happened.
