I agree - hey, the 2010 is my primary receiver for our annual
DXpedition, and except for separating close splits near to a strong
signal, it hears most of what the R8's, R8A's and R8B's do.

The other factor probably is that when DX'ing from the house, all of my
MW DX since 1969 has been using balanced loops, so for someone who is
used to using random wires or other less directional arrays with less
nulling power, there may be a greater perceived improvement.

All of that said, I'm still going to be anxiously awaiting my Sangean
200 and the opportunity to take them both on the road for a few days -
that'll give me a good way to occupy 3 nights away !
