Mark Connelly or one of the guru's likely has a better answer - I have been 
using a very vanilla arrangement with the power coax going directly to the 
termination -
I do not think you could run the ground side of the connection via ground rods 
if that is what you are suggestion - at least with the 9-10 V source from my 
Vactrol supply.
