Chuck, Both John Bryant and I felt that the EWE had coastal properties. They work well for me, but I am not against trying something new. After all I have a stretch that runs about 100- 125 feet running East/West. I did try out a K9AY some years ago that did well but had low gain. I logged two new lp Filipinos I had never logged before or since. The wet soil here, being a mile from the Pacific is briny. It is supposed to be fresh water, but there is still a salt taste to it. I always figured it got some of the salt from the ocean. Any suggestions on what I might put up instead of a EWE?
