Maybe "Never" was too strong of a word. But all of the teens and
twenty-somethings I know around here never do listen to a radio. They stream
everything and I mean everything. They listen to their music on Ipod's, cel
phones, or their computers. Most of the ones I know closely do not even own a
radio, unless it is a radio in the car and even in those cases, they Bluetooth
everything. Even me at 67, except for DXing, I now stream about everything as I
have access to crystal clear local sounding radio from around the World. Sure,
I can log 2GB in Sydney NSW, but streaming I can listen to it 24/7 with no
static or fading. It sounds like I am living in Sydney. DXing will always be a
love of mine, but for pure listening the internet has opened a door that years
ago I could not even imagined. Now with the Roku, I can do the same with TV.
More and more of it is becoming available.
