----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Irish Fencing Forum
----------------------------------------------------------- From: PostpaidPBH Message 52 in Discussion I didn't think the IAFF had any involvement in the Novice Cups. Let me correct a possible misconception. WE (the fencers of Ireland) are the IAFF.All licensed fencers are members of the organisation, all affiliated club are members of the organization. The committee which the IAFF(we) appointed to run our organisation do indeed represent the IAFF however the organisation encompasses most of the fencing on this Isle. So that means that the IAFF did have some involement, in so far as it was IAFF members and clubs who ran the competition. Well, if they were under the auspices of the Fed, shouldn't the breeches rule be enforced? I'm not trying to score points or argue here, i'm actually asking for clarification. Can anyone from the Fed clear this up? Excellent point. I'd like to add my voice to this request for clarification. Keeping in mind the start of this post: What exactly does Nuala's response mean? Does it mean that all competitions run by IAFF members should follow the equipment rules? If not what does it actually mean? ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/IrishFencingForum/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
