[~RenkaiGe] yes, this is more or less what I had in mind when opening this
issue. If you enforce that the offset obeys {{offset >= 0 && offset <= size}}
then I think you can change {{getWindowStartWithOffset(...)}} to this:

windowSize) {
return timestamp - (timestamp - offset) % windowSize;
