Wait, you're talking about target/checkout? A minute ago it seemed like you
didn't want to use such a thing and wanted to just build in the basedir. I
re-read your original post, and I can see what you meant, however it wasn't
clear, and was made less clear with your list. What exactly do you want, in
which directories, and when?
