We discussed having a `solrMajorVersion` value as an **optional** override if you MUST use non-compliant tags. I'm not opposed to that, as it would be opt-in for the few. But Houston stated quite clearly above: > But I actually want to stay away from solrMajorVersion entirely, I really really really hate that we would need that ever.
