The 6 0 R or 8 0 R are indirect references to 'objects" defined somewhere else in the PDF. (read the section about syntax in the PDF spec section 7.3.10 Indirect objects ) You should get the real object. Don't try the get method of PDfDictionary but try another getAs... method this should resolve the indirect reference.
