I just checked v4l and it only build for kernels >= 2.6.12. Or do we want to have that as a minimal kernel for ivtv, too? I'd like to be able to have ivtv run on 2.6.9, as there is demand for RHEL4 based ivtv systems (given the fast pace of Fedora Core and the RHEL4 availability as free clones). Could you therefore keep a copy of the migrated modules in ivtv? Perhaps with a Makefile switch for full-builds vs v4l-builds? Thanks! -- Axel.Thimm at ATrpms.net
