I (finally) decided to use JabRef (2.8.1) and imported a couple of dozen entries in RIS format. In the preferences menu I turned off assigning username and entry date since I'm the only one using the information, but these two columns remain in the display window. How do I change this behavior?
Sometimes when I click on an entry the bottom window that allows me to enter key words does not open. Other entries work immediately but some just will not respond to the left-button action. Since the trackball is new I wonder if it's a mechanical or application issue. Any thoughts on this?
