Timing issue, or threading/concurrency issue?

my two cents about this is that I would not blow this off and ignore it 
just yet.  If it is a concurrency issue then you can expect all sorts of 
misalignments and data corruptions that are very difficult to track 
down.  I understand the need to put this on a back burner, but a work 
around is not an actual fix.

Like I said, that is my 2 cents.
