As already mentioned, some tests are more important than other: PIC-specific
libs (peripherals, maybe delays) must be tested on several devices.
Non-PIC-specific libs, that is external libs, ideally should be tested on
several devices, but hey, as you said, it's not possible ! I think we need
not to consider the switch between "unvalidated" to "validated" as a binary
operation ("Yes it's 100% validated", "No, 0% validated").
That's the idea between my graphs in dedicated testing page: an indicator
shows how deep things are tested. For externals libs, we can put a matrix
like:
| lib1 | device1 | device2 | device3 |
| lib2 [ device2 |
lib1 is more tested because the part itself is more common. This isn't the
case for lib2, that's just the way it is. BUT: for an external lib to be
part of "validated", so to be part of this matrix, it must at least been
validated on one target (...), be JSG compliant, comes with one or more
samples, ... That is, even if a lib is tested on only one target, we provide
enough stuff to test it on other targets, things are made easy.

'untested' ? Isn't it 'unvalidated' ? I think the SVN structure is complex
enough, we *really* should try to stick to it.
