Sorry if I have not posted here in a very long time.

Now, I have been studying a book by Shoji Kakuko titled "Japanese
Core Words and Phrases". This publication has helped me understand
some of the multiple-particle constructions that, even though I have
not encountered them yet in my formal studies, I will most certainly
be encountering in daily communication.

I would like to know just what function "naru to" serves in
Japanese. A friend of mine wrote me a part of a letter in Japanese.
One of his sentences goes, "Kimi no konpyt de nihongo ga tsukaeru
you ni naru to ureshii desu." In this case, what function does "naru
to" serve?
