No,; I mean, this is expected that you don't get anything more : I just means that something is wrong _when_ launching the real backend. So, to see if this is really jasmine -related, we make use of "dummy", because it is a "trusted" backend (ie it will never fail). > From web interface of cups i can't choose the URI "jasmine:dummy:nothing" i > for example can use "jasmine:dummy:lpd://bipt171.bi.ehu.es". Oh, sorry, my mistake : The good URI to use is : jasmine:dummy://anything_you_want The "//" was missing ! So, use jasmine:dummy://foobar , that'll be fine ;-) Remember : the "dummy" backend does _nothing_ (apart from logging a few things to syslog), so you can give it any URI that begins with "jasmine:dummy://" or "dummy://" and to good thing too is that it should never fail. Well, that's why I made it to debug jasmine ;-) > So i have configured the new printer with the > uri "jasmine:dummy:ldp://bitp171.bi.ehu.es" but when i try to print i get > a "quota limit reached" error. > :( This is strange :-o ! Well, try with the above good URI (jasmine:dummy://foo), we will see if this message is relevant :-) ! -- Put JASmine in your Cups !
