While I have never used bea's products, I am extremely happy with the jServ
+ turbine
combination. The turbine mailing list is very responsive, and I was able to
demo a web
app to my manager in short notice. I will be going to production with a
jServ + turbine +
mySQL solution in another 6 weeks.
BTW, we are a small shop and it would have been difficult to justify the
cost of weblogic.
Apache project to the rescue!
