OK, let me rephrase; OpenGL is not supported on the PS2 in
*hardware*.

I spoke with a PS1 developer recently (at a local IGDA chapter meeting)
that told me that there had been several attempts to make OpenGL ports
to both PS1 and PS2 and none of those he had tried was efficient
enough to be used in production code. I believe the reason is that
on PCs OpenGL is implemented in hardware while on the PS2
you have to implement it in a software layer using the regular
PS2 graphics API.
