Blender fileformat hasn't changed at all, and actually i don't have a clue about how to read .blend files, but i don't think its necessary, cause the greatest blender power resides (IMHO) in its scripting abilities, and in fact there are really a lot of I/O scripts out there. Blend2java is NOT proprietary. The xml file is the result of new java serialization method ( try to work with XMLEncode , look at the xml output and you'll find the same syntax ) So, in the end, take a look at blend2java source (both export.py and java routines) , it's Open Source... :) > And in my > opinion every additional export-tool would be nice but not a good solution > if it isn't shipped together with the blender package. > I totally disagree about that!!! hehe :-) > On Sun, 28 Mar 2004 11:45:28 +0200, Gasdia Roberto <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: > > > python is the only Blender internal scripting language.
