Hi, if yes, how do you explain the following I got from
http://www.j3d.org/faq/intro.html#future

2. What is the future of Java 3D?

Right now, it is in a holding pattern but at least we have some information
to work on. In July 2003, Sun sacked the two remaining fulltime developers.
Nothing was heard for 6 months. On 17 March 2004 Doug Twilleage announced
that Sun was preparing to release the code under the java.net community site
using some form of public license. They are expecting to have this complete
by JavaOne 2004 (late May). Right now, that is all the information that we
have available. Licensing is yet to be determined other than it will be
somewhere between BSD and SCSL...

so it seems like Sun is not going to do any more development on their own?

Thanks

David
