You mean Sun is still doing Java3D development within their team, and not
going to make it open source? so confusing? from this link:

The above is wrong information? or Sun hired new Java 3D developers since
then?

Hm, don't think thats true. Sun makes things OpenSource which seem to be
dead (e.g. JSDT).

In this case, the license will not be *really* free. Still only Sun will
be able to create truely new versions of Java3D. [EMAIL PROTECTED] are working
on Java3D now.

Of course, there are no guarantees currently....
