The sentiment about Scala seems fair. It is been aimed at more capable
programmers. To say that a language is aimed at capable, motivated
developers is not the same as saying all capable and motivated
developers will like it.

I have disagreed with individuals on points of preference while at the
same time respecting their level of ability.

You can never please all programmers.

I could well say that C is aimed at hard core expert programmers. Does
that mean that all capable, hard core types will like C?
