That, but more the ongoing discussions surrounding it. Paul's comments
were not so much FUD, but I think his highly emotional presentation
compacted all the issues on top of each other, which I think makes it
feel/seem even worse than it may be.
Sure, I think he's in part talking about HOW we write languages that's
wrong, and his experience is more in Scala, and his frustrations there.
The FUD is more the ongoing discussion, and potential for
mis-interpretation etc.
