In Jaws 8, if Jaws stops responding, you can do an insert Windows f4 to completely dump Jaws.

I can't tell you anything about installing Vista since the machine I use Vista on came that way. I can tell you that Jaws works well with Vista though. The only problem I have had is with Office 2007 causing Jaws to lock up sometimes. But the Jaws dump command seems to fix that. The only drawback to Vista are the drivers for some of my peripheral products. But for the most part, I am beginning to like Vista, it's just a whole new learning process. At present I am using JAWS 7.500 and on inquiring about how Vista works from a number of sources I am getting mixed signals, e.g., leave it alone for a while as there are a number of bugs which need to be fixed. Another comment I got was that when installing Vista sometimes the installation is aborted and the process needs to be restarted. The latest version of JAWS is 8.0.2317 (or is it "71"? and as your list appears to have quite a number of experts, please let me have the benefit of your advice and comments.
