Maria, I encountered this .net framework problem some time ago when trying to install JAWS. An FS (now VFO) rep explained that JAWS relies on an old version of this framework because certain braille and other devices that pair with JAWS couldn't handle the current version. I could never get any kind of reconciliation, but somehow the problem went away in later installations. I'm sorry you're encountering it now. I'm not sure this is helpful, but maybe it's something you can mention to whomever tries to help you.
