you've got to understand that the .dbx files are the actual Outlook Express files (called folders in outlook Express) - in a compressed format.

If in your recycle bin try and open the bin, arrow down to the item and hit the application key, the first item that comes up is 'restore' hit enter on that. Repeat for each item in the bin you want to restore or mark all the items at once and 'restore'. This will put the items back in the same place that they were before the delete. I have not tried that with items like outlook folders but should work probably the same. I thought that if I deleted the bdx folders, I'd be alright, but now I find that having done that, I've actually deleted all my folders.They are still in my recycle bin and they're all bdx folders, is there a way to retrieve them again.
