Hi Kate; If IE8 is uninstalled and IE7 was on the computer previously, when uninstalling IE8 the computer should roll back to IE7 just by uninstalling IE8. To check what version of IE you have, with IE open press the keystroke Jaws/insert key, control, + V, and Jaws will tell you what version is running. Hope this helps. Take care. Mike
