The sound card is not usually mentioned in the specs for laptops because it is integrated into the motherboard. Andy

I will check into that. What is "XP media addition ", and why might I use it? Is there something that JAWS will support instead? Also JAWS doesn't promise support for XP media addition FYI. It does for some people even on this list but they don't guaranty it though. It is a light-weight DELL model. I'm going to provide the specs below. Can anyone give me pointers as to features or components that might cause JAWS to not work? I know that Video cards can be a problem, can anyone tell me if the one in this laptop could be a potential problem? Any advice or recommendations that any of you can give to me will be appreciated.
