Marc/All
I don't want to beat a dead horse, but I did feel
compelled to add just a bit more to this thread.
Marc, I just wanted to say that you have/are doing an
exceptional job with JBOSS. My own life is harried
and often times I don't have enough time (as I'd like)
to devote to JBOSS. The competing priorities, I can
only imagine. I wish you well sorting out all that is
going on right now...
Much as we'd like to imagine that there is a structure
solution/methodology for every problem in the computer
science world, the truth is that there is not. Much
is trial and error; learn as you go... it's
evolutionary.
For all that aspire to help out w/JBOSS it is a worthy
endeavor, so all that fear their pledge to help goes
unheard don't despair. You may have to poke around a
bit to find your niche and get code into CVS. After a
bit folks will get tired of checking stuff in on your
behalf and you'll get your own login. Next thing you
know you're cutting core container code...
So, although not perfect JBOSS particpation tends to
evolve in stages. One day I hope to grown up to be
just like Rickard! ;-)
happy hacking,
peter
