using tabs for indention

I've just entered a new development team where the
convention is to use tabs instead of spaces for indention.

How can I get jde-mode to use tabs in all cases where
it auto indents. I still seem to be getting a mixture of
tabs and spaces. I'm pissing off my teamates.
