You're not telling us everything. Judging from the buffer names, you had
previously launched a debugee process at least three times. I would want to
know in detail what things you did that preceded the hangup. Did the
debuggers die before restarting, etc. Is it possible that you have some old
Java processes hanging around that have eaten up all your system's memory?

Anyway, I've never had this problem on any of the platforms I use (Windows
95, Windows NT, Solaris).

Finally, you should use the Submit Problem Report command  because it
captures the actual environment in which the problem occurred.
